Steps to pack the perfect Hookah Bowl

A lot of Hookah lovers learn the importance of properly placing a hookah bowl to get the best out of a Hookah session. How you pack your hookah bowl plays a big part in the quality and longevity of a session, and loading a bowl should never be rushed.

When packing a hookah bowl, there are two important things to keep on mind - Airflow and heat control.

What you need to pack your Hookah Bowl:

• Shisha
• Aluminum foil
• Toothpick
• Hookah Bowl and
• Plate

Steps to pack the bowl:

• Fill the bowl with shisha to just below rim level.
• Empty shisha on the plate and circulate air with your fingers, pulling separated any thick bunches and evacuating any stems. When you have done this, repack the bowl with the circulated air through shisha, again ensuring that the shisha is just underneath edge level.
• Since your bowl is packed, remove a bit of aluminum foil.
• Place the foil on top of the bowl and fold the sides securely over the rim to create an air seal. (But remember the shisha should not touch the aluminum ors it will burn.)
• The final step is to poke holes in the aluminum screen. (First poke 5 holes in the middle of the aluminum, driving the toothpick down to the bottom of the bowl)
• Finish up by poking small holes around the outer-most edge of the screen.
